So,
I know it's been a while since I've posted on here. A lot has been going on since Half Futures came out, but to make a long story short I've been busy working on music for a new duo and finishing up work on some stuff under my High Marks project.
I have been working on a true follow up to last year's Wild Silver album, but after an abortive attempt at making an album I wanted to call Heavens Above, Heavens Below, I went back to the drawing board. Some of that stuff may eventually see the light of day, but I doubt it.
As for other business, there are some things on the very distant horizon, I'll be sure to let everyone know when things seem more set.

Hey everybody,
This is a record Melissa Anthony and I made a few years ago under the name Moon Peoples. It's kind of a psych/noise type thing. You should download it, if you're interested in that type of thing. http://www.mediafire.com/?kn06qryiq68ru8y

1st band
So, the first band I was ever in was called Suitcases, and we (Chris and I) worked off and on for five years making various kinds of experimental and noise music. We recorded a lot of music over the years, and I'm posting some of it in the next few months.
Here is our first EP, SC:

The integral third member in the band at the time was our friend J. Quinn. He played drums and a myriad of other things on this recording, and worked on the engineering.

Well, the times were bound to change. Recently, after lots of sound experimentation, I've decided to divide things off a bit. Warning Light is becoming more focused, and my side projects will be a little more "out there."
My next Warning Light album is still tenatively scheduled for the fall, and I think the new sounds will be a pleasant surprise to anyone who has followed the different albums over the years. But until then, you can check out:
1) My split C30 with Repeated Viewing from Glasgow. It will be out in an ever-so-limited-edition of 100 copies on green cassettes.
2) I contributed to a drone album by Seeing the Sights, you can check that out/download it free in the next week or so at: seeingthesights.bandcamp.com
3) The quiet, industrial-noise of downers. "medicated loathing" and the upcoming "Plague Rhythms", at: downers.bandcamp.com
So check out all that stuff...

Recording again
In a sharp change of plans, I've kind of retreated to the home recording closet again. Originally I had planned to play more shows this year, but other projects have kind of gotten ahold of my attention.
My split C30 with Glasgow's Repeated Viewing is close to being ready for Persistentmidnight, hopefully that will be out in the next two months.
Work on my next album, tentatively titled Heavens Above, Heavens Below has been creeping along. So far the sounds are a little more ecclectic than the last record (some songs have Harmonium, Theremin, Melodica) and the emphasis seems to be on a more spacey, droney sound. Hopefully, people will like it. I should have a demo up sometime towards the summer from it. I've talked to a couple people about appearing on some of the tracks, hopefully it will work out and I will have collaborations on this album as well.

Midtown short film
My roommate and his cohorts recently made a short film for a Georgia State University film contest, and I editted / cowrote the soundtrack (part of my last single "Blacked Out" appears, with some other music I worked on). Check it out:

New single for January
2012 is going to be a different kind of year for Warning Light. I'm going to try to play live a little more and record in new ways. In that spirit, I've recorded a new single called "Blacked Out." Listen and enjoy!
The song was recorded in reaction to SOPA/PIPA, something I just cannot support as an artist and free American.
